Chrome Hoof was formed in 2000 by Cathedral bassist Leo Smee and drummer / programmer Milo Smee. Over the years Chrome Hoof have grown in numbers, building an army of improvisatory multi-instrumentalists and generating a devoted cult following with their legendary live shows.
Chrome Hoof currently consists of 10+ members with a multitude of instruments including bassoon, violin, trumpet, guitar, keyboards, percussion, bass and vocals. Chrome Hoof’s music spans several diverge music genres such as metal, electro, prog and disco.
Chrome Hoof’s sound has been described as a futuristic and psychedelic hybrid of Sun Ra, ESG, Goblin, Parliament-Funkadelic and Black Sabbath.
